Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan’s Brayden Trevor Yager, born January 3, 2005, continues to make a name for himself in the Western Hockey League (WHL).

For the second year in a row, Yager has been awarded the Brad Hornung Memorial Trophy as the WHL’s Most Sportsmanlike Player. This prestigious honor recognizes players who demonstrate exceptional sportsmanship and respect for the game.

Yager’s impressive performance on the ice with the Moose Jaw Warriors has not only earned him the respect of his peers but has also made him a prime prospect for the upcoming NHL draft. The Pittsburgh Penguins selected Yager with their 14th overall pick in the 2023 draft.
