76th Emmy Awards Ceremony Set for September
The nominees for the 76th Emmy Awards were announced on Wednesday morning, July 12, by Tony Hale and Sheryl Lee Ralph. The ceremony, which recognizes excellence in television, will take place on September 24.
Nominees for the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series category include Bill Hader for Barry, Jeremy Allen White for The Bear, Anthony Carrigan for Barry, Steve Martin for Only Murders in the Building, and Jason Sudeikis for Ted Lasso.
In the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series category, the nominees are Jean Smart for Hacks, Quinta Brunson for Abbott Elementary, Kaley Cuoco for The Flight Attendant, Elle Fanning for The Great, and Selena Gomez for Only Murders in the Building.
The nominees for Outstanding Comedy Series include Abbott Elementary, Barry, The Bear, Hacks, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Only Murders in the Building, Reservation Dogs, Ted Lasso, and What We Do in the Shadows.
