Bills Breaking Ground on New Stadium
First Step Closer to New Home
The Buffalo Bills have released their eagerly anticipated renderings of how their new state-of-the-art stadium will look. The new stadium, which will be located in Orchard Park, New York, is expected to cost $1.4 billion and will be able to seat up to 62,500 fans. The stadium is scheduled to open in 2026.
Steel Superstructure Construction Begins
The first step in the construction process was the completion of the steel superstructure. The steel superstructure is the framework of the stadium and it will support the seating bowls, roof, and video board. The steel superstructure was completed in May 2023 and it is now time to begin the next phase of construction.
Upper Deck Seating Panels Need Replacing
At minimum, the upper deck seating panels at Highmark Stadium would need replacing over the next few years. The Bills will need to decide whether to replace the panels with the same type of material or to use a different material. The Bills will also need to decide whether to replace all of the panels or just the ones that are damaged.
Bills Eagerly Anticipating New Stadium
The Bills are eagerly anticipating the opening of their new stadium. The new stadium will be a major upgrade from the Bills' current stadium, Highmark Stadium. Highmark Stadium is over 50 years old and it is no longer able to meet the needs of the Bills or their fans. The new stadium will be a modern, state-of-the-art facility that will provide a great experience for fans.
